Professional and Clean Web Design for Nonprofits – SALT

We created a clean and professional website design in order to meet SALT’s online goals. As a nonprofit organization, it was important that SALT’s advocacy efforts were featured prominently on the homepage alongside clear calls for potential members to join. We placed large Join and Renew buttons prominently in the header to attract attention and direct user action. We also simplified the sign-up process, allowing users to pay and join in less clicks. We use a large slider on the home page to promote SALT’s activities and current events and included Twitter integration for up to the minute news.

The Society of American Law Teachers is a community of progressive legal educators and students working to advance teaching excellence, social justice, and diversity. SALT is comprised of law teachers, law school administrators, librarians, academic support experts, students, and affiliates. The organization has been working for more than 40 years to improve the legal profession, seeking to expand legal representation for under served communities. It seeks to advance social justice within communities, while fighting for equal opportunities and LGBT rights through position statements and amicus briefs. SALT is driven to ensure that law academia has the highest quality standards within legal education. It is governed by a board of governors elected by the membership in three-year terms and co-presidents serving two year terms. SALT fights for the tenure of law professors, seeking to maintain prestige within law academia.
